Our Hub was officially opened by our eldest resident, Walter Childs (101 years of age)  see our Community Hub page for pictures. The opening ceremony began at 2pm with Walter cutting the ribbon and giving us a speech. There was a great turnout of residents' who celebrated with a glass of bubbly, tea, coffee and cup cakes. Later in the evening there was cheese and wine and a good bit of banter.  The Hub is open daily from 10am onwards so drop in for a coffee / tea and a chat.  Better still why not book the Hub and set up a function i.e. quiz night, club, singalong, anything that you think other residents' would enjoy. Good morning all, My self and wife are looking at a new lodge on site just to the right of the shop on the new development. My question is how do you find life on Riverview in general and your relationship with the owners?Are they investing? We are looking at moving in next mouth! And finally how about the area?Many thanks Gary & Sally

The Committee Riverview Residents Association Riverview Country Park Mundole 6/09/2021 Dear Committee, We wish to inform you that we no longer wish to be members of the “Riverview Country Park residents association” (realising that it may have already expired), there are several reasons why we have come to this decision, please remove any and all our details from your records. The Main one being the issue of the AGM, once again you are attempting to circumvent the residents right to a full and proper AGM. AGMs are to allow residents the opportunity to express their opinions, debate / discuss proposals, raise concerns! There is no reason why this year the AGM cannot be held fully and constitutionally, you could spend some of the monies that you hold, what is it, £8000.00 / 10,000.00 / 12,000.00 + and hire a large marquee to hold the AGM in?? God forbid, you might even spend more and lay on wine and snacks for the residents after the meeting! We note that in this months "Newsletter" that you appear to want to pick and choose which parts of the constitution you want to invoke and which you do not. The committee does not have the rights or the authority to unilaterally cancel / change the format of the AGM; dare I suggest that this proposal would require the committee to first hold an EGM!! Lets take your voting form; for the second year running you are denying the right of members to VOTE AGAINST any of the Nominees so, by default if a nominee gets one vote, they're in; as you are not registering ANY votes against. The Nominees for Chairperson, Secretary & Treasurer, there is no choice only one nominee for each position?? So, I refer you back to the way you are trying to set this up and, the one vote scenario. How unconstitutional is it going too get!!!!! Regards Johnk
